When you install Shoprofy, we collect the following information from your Shopify store:

• Store domain and access token (for API access)
• Order data (order IDs, amounts, line items, shipping costs)
• Product data (titles, descriptions, images, tags)
• Customer data (anonymized — we do not store personal customer information)
• Store settings you configure within the app (costs, fees, preferences)

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data exclusively to provide the Shoprofy service:

• Calculating profit margins, COGS, and analytics
• Generating AI-powered SEO recommendations via Anthropic Claude
• Fetching competitor pricing via third-party search APIs
• Sending scheduled email reports (if you opt in)

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Data Storage

Your data is stored securely on Supabase (hosted in the EU — Frankfurt, Germany) with encryption at rest and in transit. Access tokens are encrypted and never exposed in client-side code.

4. Third-Party Services

• Anthropic Claude — AI SEO analysis (product titles/descriptions sent for analysis, no personal data)
• SerpAPI — Competitor price lookup (product title sent as search query)
• Resend — Email delivery for scheduled reports
• Vercel — Application hosting

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your Shoprofy subscription is active. Upon uninstalling the app, you may request complete data deletion by emailing support@shoprofy.com. We will delete all your data within 30 days.
